Once a week I get to wake up late and not worry about work.
The sight of seeing my three children playing is certainly a feast to my senses and life.
This weekend isn't typical. As usual, we went to 1Utama, but this time, we're for me.
I am not sure whether guys share the same point of view as me on shopping. See, my philosophy in shopping is,
"Women may be in the shopping mall for 7-8 hours, but haven't bought anything, cause they window shop, compare prices, or even being fickle minded. Unlike men, we knew what to get even before reaching the mall."--(now, sorry to fellow feminist, I ain't being a sexist, but it's an observation I've made.)
Don't get me wrong, I love shopping....only to get the things I love. One thing I hate the most however, is being forced to shop by others.(oh, yes.. you know who I am talking about) I HATE SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES. That's why there ain't much variety of shirts and pants. I don't complain, nor being overly particular on the way I dress. I need to be dragged to the clothes department annually..(yes... annually)
I don't mind shopping for toys, electronics, food, or clothes FOR OTHERS, but i dread shopping for clothes. I simply can't imagine myself playing model in the fitting room.
So, i sort of got my mind set and had decided what to get even before we parked our vehicle. I shall set the record for the shortest time in shopping for clothes.
But Noooo...... that decision fell in the hands of my mum and wife instead!!!
"I think we better get you more pants....Oh, check out the shirts, I think this colour suites Chee Hung better. I find is rather fascinating as I am approaching my mid 30s, yet I don't get to decide on MY CLOTHES."
I just need to document this....The price tag.
Yup, I bought 3 shirts and 3 pants. Walking out from the store was a relief. It felt like someone loosen the noose around my neck..
Wow, spent so much? But nevermind la. It's all worth it kan? Hehe. Cheerios x)
