My typical weekend...
It the only day of the week that I have the luxury of catching up on my sleep. Thing is, I never wake up before 10am. By the time everyone is awake, it's way passed breakfast, but too early for lunch, therefore brunch.
As promised made to Isabelle several days ago, we'll have it at Pizza Hut.And boy, the service provided indeed tested my patience.
1Utama, as expected, is the choice of the week.
Have you got any idea how many times I press to call, and they kept on getting our orders mixed up. Forget this, served the wrong items,etc...
And the children getting impatient...and irritated... 3 irritated kiddies mean an impending headache for the parents.
Overall, nobody's happy with the service provided by the staff. I don't blame them, in turn, I pity them for they were short of manpower to tackle a restless crowd. We decide to go elsewhere to have a proper meal.
I noticed this baby carrier attracted the crowd's attention. I simply need to snap a picture of myself carrying Leonidas.
We were gastronomically satisfied at "Baba and Nyonyas", where their stalls are located at the 2nd floor of the old wing. Teh tarik ais, and some nyonya cakes..yum...yum...
After the meal, we headed to get groceries.
Nicely wrapped, the last thing you would expect is a worm, under scrutiny I found this
Yikes,right....
We headed home after buying the groceries. Then it's family video session time. I think I was the only person watching as the kids were busy doing their own thing.
As usual, our precocious Natalie would always observe what we do and tries to mimic the action.
That's Natalie, with no one to hold the mirror up for her, she place the handle of the mirror on a gaping drawer.
Isabelle and Natalie always jump on our bed since there's no space for a trampoline.
Natalie, now able to climb up the bed without assistance.
This is what I call jumping for joy. It's certainly a wonderful sight to see these three munchkins having a great time just by being being themselves.
These are certainly angels of my life.
While Natalie and Isabelle were running and jumping around, their little brother wants to join in as well..
Took his photo spontaneously when Natalie tried to kiss her little brother.
My wife taught Isabelle and Natalie on posing for photo...where were all...

Why Cervarix is a better choice...
At present, there are 2 vaccine against Cervical Cancer. Cervarix, by GSK, and Gardasil by MSD.
Now, one claims to be a tetravalent vaccine, which means it provide protection against 4 genotype of HPV(Human Papilloma Virus) that is responsible in triggering cellular changes that leads to cervical cancer.
Or....
One thing that is rather misleading is the claim that Gardasil being emphasized upon as a tetravalent vaccine in protecting against Cervical cancer. This is such a misleading statement. Indeed while Gardasil being a tetravalent vaccine by it's own rights does not mean it provide more protection compared to Cervarix.
Tetra- 4, the subtypes are 6,11,16,and 18
Subtype 6 and 11 causes only genital warts, and does not lead to Cervical cancer per se.
While on the other hand, Cervarix, was designed to protect against subtype 16, and 18, it however, have shown to provide cross protection against subtype 31,33, and 45.
Subtype 16,18,31,33,45 are the top 5 serotype that causes cervical cancer.
Cervarix was designed with ASO4 as an adjuvant, acting as "turbocharger" that leads to high level of antibody titre and for prolonged period of time. Mathematical formulation ha estimated that Cervarix gives protection for at least 20 years, while antibody level of Gardasil would dwindle after the 5th year after vaccination.
One of the criteria for one to develop cervical cancer would be persistent infection with HPV.
What happens then for those who was vaccinated with Gardasil after 5 years. Nobody today can tell whether the need of a booster. Though the blood antibody titre may be low, or even absent, but the B-memory cell would trigger the production of these antibodies. True. But it fails to serve its purpose as it takes 2 days for these antibodies to be produced, while it takes only 2 hours for HPV in blood circulation embed themselves at the basal membrane, isolating them from the circulating antibodies.
It got on my nerves when I got to know that there are doctors who told the patient to chose the vaccine of their liking. Doctors are humans with their fair share of doubts. I personally emailed Dr Diane Harper, the principal researcher in both vaccines, and a committee member in WHO,
her reply is this:-
For a virus that stays dormant in the body for decades, one needs a vaccine that last much longer than the virus for which the vaccine is designed to protect against.

What's worst than police brutality,???? A trigger happy police.
This incident was not reported in the mainstream news media.... it was kept hidden until today.
This happened somewhere in February where a group of friends 2 couples to be exact went outing.
While driving, without warning, the rear glass shattered from firing from a police vehicle. Now, let me get this right. They were doing nothing, no speeding, no police road block, when this occur. The shot wasn't aimed at tyres. It was aimed at the driver. The police continue shooting 5 rounds. This occurred in MRR2. Feeling scared the car stopped. The driver of the car a 30 year old single mother , Miss Norizan Salleh was hit 5 times.
Initially she didn't realized she was shot, when she stopped her car, and before she managed to come out from the vehicle, the policeman came fast towards her kung fu style, kicked her, then dragged her out from her car and was continually stomped and kicked upon which resulted in 2 broken ribs. Remember, she has no previous criminal record, and the reason for the police to do so hasn't been told to her. She cried for help as she was suffocating from a punctured lung from the broken rib.
Now, she was sent to emergency department of Hospital Kuala Lumpur. There she was told she had sustained 2 gunshot to the right arm, and 3 shots to the body. 1 bullet was lodged a few inches from the heart which could have killed her.
She was immediately sent over to IJN to have the bullet removed, ended up now she has to bear to operation cost of over RM18,000.
The thing that fumes me up and the heights of all fucked up things today from Mr. Dumb As*
as the audacity to defend the police that what the police did was justified! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!
Damn the keys on my keyboard are coming loose as I am banging each letter in writing this blog.
The police again, claimed that the lady was trying to rammed the police down. But the bullet would is seen from the back! Unless you 're telling me this lady goes backwards and pound on them in a one way highway in MRR2. Polis is so stupid, want to think of an excuse also come up with something better. I think the police they themselves should undergo urine test for drugs from time to time, coz they may be high during the shootings.
Police are like gangsters, execute without protocol....are we supposed to feel same with the presence of the police?
When they can do this:--
I thought the government purchased Mitsubishi Evolution 10 to chase cars????? They why would they need the gunshot?
Malaysian Police wore a new badge today;-
Hishamuddin, the Home Ministry says there WILL BE NO ACTIONS OR INVESTIGATIONS in this matter..
Malaysia Boleh!!!!! Just one day... We as mortal may suffer, but soon the day will come for these goons have to face the music.

Believe it or not music changes your mood...
I had been listening too much to music that churns me up inside out. I listen to music that depicts angst, depression, suicidal, emptiness, frustrations, I contemplate upon these songs for too much you tend to feel helpless and in the end, totally surrendered to the emotion. Feelings that break you.
Once in a while, a pure simple love songs is all you need to make you feel better. I stumbled across this singer when I was searching for best female youtube singer,Melissa Polinar who sang, plays the guitar, and writes her own song, but doesn't have a record out. Check some of her songs here..
I sincerely hope you have enjoyed listening to then a much as I did.

Listen to the rakyat.
Baris*N Nas**nal and AUMNO has been in power for too long. I think some of you readers would agree with me our government isn't transparent enough with the rakyat. I personally think the tax payer's money is used and wasted by certain officials and with certainty I know for sure there are a group within the government who is benefiting from all the seemingly precarious spending.
These are a few examples:-
The cost of obtaining 10 Mitsubishi Lancer for police cost RM3.5 million.
RM3.5 million for 10 Mitsubishi Evo 10. The Price OTR per unit is RM338,000. That is inclusive of the 300% tax. Please don't b***SH** the rakyat that the government had to purchase these cars... TAXED!!! Cause everything is Tax free when comes to government use. So, do that maths. If you subtract the 300% tax, the total cost would come up to only RM875,000. Someone pockets the other 2.8 million.
2. Building cost of the new palace at RM800 million without open tender.
My first question would be, instead of building a new palace, why can't they simply renovate and upgrade the current palace?
The current palace was build in the late 1920's. What are they trying to prove? The US White House was built and completed on the year 1800, and it then cost USD 232,371.83. 200 years and the 44th president,Barack Obama still stays in the White House. The Americans knew the White House is more than a house to the President, but it is a symbol of US's sovereignty and pride.
What's wrong with the current Istana Negara? Can't they just upgrade the palace. Buckingham palace was built in 1705, and is was constantly being upgraded since.
It would have been more cost effective and the Istana Negara remains as a symbol of OUR Sovereignty,if they were just renovate and upgrade the security, just as the Americans are doing. Today, the security of the White House remains a closely kept secret.
The Cabinet made a bad choice with this decision.
What made it worst was it wasn't put out for open tender. WHy? Not only would they save some money but the quality of building is assured.
And what was their excuse for not offering it for open tender? Security.... Yeah.. as if the current contractor Maya Maju Sdn Bhd can assure the government that their worker's mouth would be sealed after the works is done. Obviously there will be talks.
I have no idea that the initial budgeted RM 396Million would escalate to RM811 million, and when questioned, the answer was simply... for security purposes. For security the cost of the palace doubled??? What? They hired the Mossad? Installed radar on the rooftop? Equipped with underground bunker in case of nuclear attack?
3. building a 100 storey skyscraper as the next National Icon to attract more tourist, at the expense of USD$1.6 billion.
How on earth did the government come up with such a rationale?
We are seriously in need of more intelligent people running our country. We are like millionaires, but spending like billionaires. Soon, besides petrol and rubber, we'll soon be exporting our love ones as maids.
I sincerely believe the unnecessary spending benefit no one except for some cronies. Want to get rich but on the expense of others. This government is waiting for the nation to vote them out in the next GE. Mark my words.

My childhood...
If at all anyone was to envy me would have to be my childhood.
I was born in Penang Adventist Hospital, during the evening of early November 1976. I am the third child with 2 sisters, 5 and 3 years respectively.
(I apologize for the poor quality photos as these are "photos of my old photos" My dad was the first Asian plantation manager in Malaysia, Padang Meiha Estate, where the 4-5 managers before were Danish, as the estate was then owned by Danish Giant, East Asiatic Company. The bungalow is smacked right on a 9 acre land with a 400 meter long laterite road with pine trees planted on each side of the road. It looked like the Southfork Range from the movie Dallas.
It was over 80 years old wooden on concrete bungalow, equipped with a garage, swimming pool, tennis court, badminton court, it was the second largest single piece of residence land in the state of Kedah, the largest was obviously the Palace of Sultan of Kedah. We had mangosteen, durians, nangka, cempedak, ciku, mangoes, banana, and coconuts trees besides planting our own vegetables at the backyard. We even have our own dog graveyard.
I can't recall having being taught how to swim, all that I knew was that I swam since a child, as if it's my second nature. I was in fact a water baby since my dad and I swam daily.
Being the only son, and with a significant age gap between me and my siblings, I pretty much grew up alone, which naturally I had the tendency to find ways to entertain myself.
I sat on my German Sheppard imagining it to be a horse, much to the annoyance of these poor canines who had to put up with me. I remember having a family of German Sheppard, Baron, Jamie, Jessie, Brownie, and Simon.(Yes, we name our dog Simon.!!)
During evenings, my dad would always take us around in his Land Rover to visit and inspect his plantation, which was fun.
I was cheeky, not naughty. My inquisitiveness often results in me getting caned. Yes,getting whipped and caned was "routine" for me.
Much to the frustration of raising a kid who is filled with ideas to experiment for myself after watching the TV. I remember watching some "Ninja" movie, and had this fascination with chopping a timber down with a single slash of the Katana, similarly, I started mimicking them by chopping down banana trees with my gardener's "parang". I got carried away, that I single handedly destroyed the entire banana trees planted at the back yard. I remembered very well during breakfast the next morning, my mother was furious, thinking that someone came in and vandalized our back yard!! I would been tied to the rubber trees and left to the crows if my mum were to ever find out that it was my tomfooleries.
And man, I remembered my mum who whipped me "kau kau" once when she found I deliberately destroyed 3 dozens of her eggs in the refrigerator. Hey, I watched "Majalah 3" and there was once featured traditional healing practiced by "bomoh", who rubbed the eggs on their patient who came to seek out treatment for tumour, and then the yolk of the eggs would turned out bloody red after rubbing the eggs and chanted mantras while doing so. Well, obviously what I did was I kept on using new eggs when I failed to see red egg yolks, I would only stop after cracked open the last egg left. I admit I deserved the caning. But hey, I wasn't naughty, it was simply curiosity that needs answers.
I have always being considered as an "estate boy" who grew up with friends who were equally "naughty" as I.
It's almost impossible for me to call anyone as a true friend in the working life.

My best pal, Ratnasegaran, who along with me created havoc in our classroom. Deepavali, 1988, we visited another friend who lived in another estate, and had fun playing fire crackers.... But what's the fun in simply lighting fire crackers. We added a little twist into it, by taking turns lighting crackers that is embedded deep into a cow dung. Those were the good old days. Those growing up years, and along the way, friends that grew up alongside me are my true friends.
When it was Ratna's turn to light one up, the moment the fuse started lighted up, his first step back landed on another fresh pile of dung, which he then slipped and did a "split".
It's almost impossible for me to call anyone as a true friend in the working life.

Musical life.
Music existed since mankind. Its the strongest and the most expressive of what can only be described as spectrum of human emotions. Nothing in life can be more expressive than musical expression.
I can't recall the moment I started listening rather than merely hearing music. When you listen, you feel. When you listen, you don't just opened up your ears, but enriched your life with the emotions that makes us human.
Somehow, I thought a lot about music today, and I would like to share some song with lyrical significance.
"And to think blacks spend all that money on big colleges,
still most of y'all come out confused
Free to be without the worries of a quick to diss society
for Mr.Wendal's a bumUncivilized we call him,
but I just saw him eat off the food we waste
Civilization, are we really civilized, yes or no ?
Who are we to judge ?
When thousands of innocent men could be brutally enslaved
and killed over a racist grudge"
-Mr Wendel, Arrested Development.
"I tear my heart open, I sew myself shut
My weakness is that I care too much
And my scars remind me that the past is real
I tear my heart open just to feel"
- Scars, Papa Roach
"So take, these broken wings
I need your hands to come and heal me once again
(Until the end of time)
So I can fly away, until the end of time"
- Until the end of time, 2Pac
"This desperation
Dislocation
Separation
Condemnation
Revelation
In temptation
Isolation
Desolation
Isolation"
-Bad,U2
"And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice
Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling
And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel my pain
Just smile back"
-When I am Gone, Eminem.
"Time to question our lifestyle, look how we live
Smokin weed like it ain't no thang, so even kids
wanna try now, they lie down and get ran through
Nobody watched 'em clockin the evil man do
Faced with the demons, addicted to hearin victims screamin
Guess we was evil since birth, product of cursed semens
Cause even our birthdays is cursed days
A born thug in the first place, the worst ways
I'd love to see the block in peace"
- Better Days, 2Pac

And my scars remind me that the past is real
I tear my heart open just to feel"
- Scars, Papa Roach
"So take, these broken wings
I need your hands to come and heal me once again
(Until the end of time)
So I can fly away, until the end of time"
- Until the end of time, 2Pac
"This desperation
Dislocation
Separation
Condemnation
Revelation
In temptation
Isolation
Desolation
Isolation"
-Bad,U2
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice
Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling
And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel my pain
Just smile back"
"Time to question our lifestyle, look how we live
Smokin weed like it ain't no thang, so even kids
wanna try now, they lie down and get ran through
Nobody watched 'em clockin the evil man do
Faced with the demons, addicted to hearin victims screamin
Guess we was evil since birth, product of cursed semens
Cause even our birthdays is cursed days
A born thug in the first place, the worst ways
I'd love to see the block in peace"
- Better Days, 2Pac

Things that make you think...
It was an eventful day today. Started with Isabelle's final performance during her kindergarten's graduation held at FRIM auditorium.
It was a stark contrast compared to previous years where it was organized at Sri KDU private school.
The auditorium was crammed up, and there weren't enough seats for everyone.
I was standing at the last row, thank God I've got the habit of carrying my Sony 70-300mm telescopic lens in addition to Sony 100mm2.8F Prime lens, and attached to my camera the versatile 18-250mmDT lens.
Well. I'll write about the graduation in some other time.
We had the famous "Hor fun" in Damansara Perdana right after the concert. Dad was sitting across me. Somehow, he mentioned something about an article he stumbled upon several days ago where there was never a case of cancer until 300 years ago. He mentioned something about cancer developed due to population lifestyle, where there is a link found with the development of various industries particularly in food processing and of course, factories that deals with chemicals.
I wondered for a while whether the ongoing trend where every consumables are organic, and they are making a huge profit. Today, whenever you walked into a shopping mall, chances is, you'll stumble upon a stall or two that claims their product organic.
After a brief rest at home,my wife and I, along with Isabelle and Natalie headed to Sri Hartamas Shopping Centre as we were looking forward to have a meal at a cake house, which I could only describe it as, English.
That's my dearest women in my life.
Lately, my family has been patronizing this store as their fruits and vegetables are fresh, besides being a comfortably decent place to window shop.
Besides, where else can you find stores that paint their fruits as such?
I got to admit, the marketing department must have employed someone with a "Gung Ho" attitude who come out with such interesting ideas.
It's only today after 7 years of marriage that I realized whenever I go shopping with family, I don't visit the sports department, or the toy department, or even comics shop any longer. Instead, it's always a stroll along the aisle that sells milk,
Yogurt....
.....more yogurts............
........and more yogurt...
When these two munchkins are around, it makes you realize something.
You don't just live for yourself, but our responsibility extends further to others. I would need to change my way of life, from walking along aisle that sells expensive soldier figurines,
... now the only aisle that you'll get to stroll along are the ones selling dairy products, eateries, children clothing..etc..
my reality....
My dream.......
Anyway, back to the topic on cancer, I did some research online, since as a doctor, I do see the damages inflicted upon cancer patient, psychologically, emotionally, and mentally. Several weeks before my first public appearance in a campaign organized by pharmaceutical giant GSK in creating public awareness on Cervical Cancer, I stumbled across this articles in the Star newspaper about Cancer being the number killer among mankind in future.
It's a scary scenario since I've witnessed how a person's soul dies the moment they've been told the grim diagnosis, and watching them dying as time passes by.
For the sake of financial gains, men are capable of becoming monsters without realizing it. Unscrupulous men who does anything to get the edge over their competitors. Like people who manipulated the chicken medically or hormonally to produced double or triple yolked eggs like these.
For comparison sake, and to give you an idea on how hideous looking these eggs are, I've placed a 20 cent coin, and a normal "conventionally" produced eggs on the left, just look at the "manipulated" eggs!!! Each of these have at least 2-3 yolks in them. Don't they realized how hideous these eggs are? It makes you wonder how the chicken that lays them look like, yeah?
Do you still want to eat them then?Imagine one of these characters knock on your doors, and asked," Was it you who ate my eggs???"
By the way, as I delve deeper into my research, cancer didn't first appeared 300 years ago, it was merely more accurately describe then, but there are evidence indicating the first ever documentation of cancer in Egypt, that dates back 1500BC!!
