Family Day out..

This post is weeks due, but since my camera out sent for repair, was only able to retrieve the photos once I got my camera back.
It was a Sunday, which means it's a family day out. This week, we brought Isabelle and Natalie to their much talked about "playground" in 1Utama.
Sports and Gym playground. I don't see no barbells or dumb bells?? While we left the kids there.we went about doing our window shopping.
We registered the kids  which then will be provided with a wrist band for both kids and parents.
We left the kids there while my wife, dad, and I went about our window shopping. Since it was near Christmas, the shopping complex was elaborately decorated with Christmas trees.
They even built an English like cottage at the centre of the old wing. There was a band playing Christmas songs. Out of so many celebrations in our country, without a doubt Christmas is the happiest, not only for the kid, but for myself personally.
After a while, we stopped by Nyonya  Colours for snacks. They serve the tastiest traditional cakes you can ever find.Just to let you know how tasteful the food is here, let the following photos do the talking.
It was so packed, that we had to wait for approximately 40 minutes to get an empty seat.Even Leonidas was getting impatient.
He kept on looking up wondering what's going on.
Its been nearly an hour that passed, yet, there isn't anyone willing to finish up their food and give us space sit.
Bloody KLites, so typical of metropolitan attitude.  The moment we found an empty space, we quickly sat down.Hah! A sense of victory and overwhelming "I deserve this seat" was felt. We ordered to our heart's content!
Cucur udang!!!!!!
Basmati rice with Kaya paste...
The superlicious Onde Onde....
I don't know the name of this cake but it has spicy coconut in it!!

Even the excitement and contentment is shown on Leo's expression.
I really enjoyed the Christmas decoration and the ambiance it creates.
About 2 hours later, we've decided to join the kids at the playground. Thought of capturing several shots of the children playing, but ended up me joining them playing.
That's a part of my leg jutting out among the plasticballs.
Isabelle and myself had a really good time throwing the balls at each other.
Sensing an inevitable defeat, Isabelle called for assistance.....
That's when Natalie jumped in to reinforce her sister in the attack on me........
That's when Isabelle executed her Ninja style sneak attack.Once she gets close to me,she started whacking me with balls!!!!
Seeing how effective such guerrilla tactic works, Natalie imitates her sister...
Problem is , she doesn't know how.I wasted no time is throwing plastics balls at them repeatedly, until Natalie shouted out,"Daddy!!!!Stop!!!!!" move a little distance aways from me and then started throwing at me again.
Suddenly, from 2 attacker against 1,I felt more balls were thrown at me besides from my two munchkins....
"Haaaa...attack him!!! attack him!!!! suddenly I was attacked from multiple directions from unknown people!
I took my camera and snapped at the culprit.
This is culprit number 1.
Culprit number 2.
Somehow,I felt these monkey asses had "invaded" the game both my daughters and I were playing. These baboons were out of control. When they threw, they spare no reservation in their throw. A few balls hit me quite hard, and that when I decide to counter attack.Isabelle saw what happened, and joint me in attacking them. I stood up, with a handful of balls in my hands, and gave a full swing targeting these pest. POK!!!I hit the first Chinese guy on the head so hard that he went "his mummy"...The second culprit saw what happened , and decided to stop playing.(wise choice)
ell, everybody had a great day. I get to bully some kids, hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

A treat for a friend.

Last year, we went to Thailand and thanks to a special friend of my brother in law, he offered himself as the guide.Everything from day 1 was so well planned throughout the entire trip. He came down to KL for a visit yesterday,so we've decided to take him somewhere special for a treat.
Isabelle and Natalie waited in excitement at home prior to leaving.
And it was raining cats dogs yesterday. But since we decided to have our dinner in The Gardens, rain wasn't going to an issue.
This would be my third time visiting the Garden. Pathetic, huh? Well, If nothing to buy, why bother going to in the first place.
We're supposed to go to lower ground, but since the lift stop at the ground floor, we had to use the escalator to lower ground floor.
I wondered how much did they spent on extravagance as such. For a while, my attention was diverted on the beautiful decorations, that I actually lost my family. After 15 minutes of shooting, I received a phone call  from my wife asking," Oi! Where are you?"
They placed Christmas trees along the walkway all the way till the end of the block!
Beautiful. They must have spent quite a bit on decorations.
I reached towards the end of the block, and wondered where did my family go? Boy, didn't they stop to appreciate the beauty?
Ahh... the famous Looouuiiihh Vut tonnn.....
I can't read Chinese, but since this restaurant serves roast duck, i think I can safely assume the signboard says," Canton Roast Duck Restaurant".
I has the warmth, soothing, and relaxing ambiance. The internal decorator even planted some bamboo trees at the sides of restaurant.Obviously, they are trying to recreate China, but instead, it turned out more like a tropical forest.
Everything is placed in order, even the chopsticks is carved with restaurant's name.
Pretty elegant,eh?  I ordered drinks from the menu, which i must say non really suites my taste. Jasmine tea with lemon, herbal tea with red bean, I mean don't you think the combo its' all wrong? It's like eating durian with ketchup.
So, I chose jasmine tea with lemon, jasmine tea and lemon's taste are pretty predictable. But not the rest.
This is  "thé de jasmin avec le citron" One sip of this drink totally messed up my taste buds!
Then I saw what they served my wife...
Why didn't I see that in the menu. I wanted something different, not something out of this world. This "chinese mild tea" looks tantalizing.
While my mind lamented on the mistakes in my order, little Natalie never fails to make me laugh with her trying to wink one side of her eye, suggesting that everything is "GoOD"
"Natalie, tried several times to wink an eye, but failed..."
Failed second attempt.
After a short wait, my dish arrived.
Char Siu rice looks wonderfulicious!Well, I would give a 4/5 for this Restaurant. The total cost for dinner for 7 adult can be aptly described as "the bomb that exploded in Bikini Island".

But once in a while it,ok. Especially for our Thai friend who was such a great guide during out trip to Bangkok last year. It's all worth it.
After dinner we went for a stroll....
Again, we came across "LOOOOUIIIIIII VUT TONNE"
My wife remarked, if just one day I could afford a bag like "THIS"!!!! She pointed excitedly.....
I told her if you carry a LV bag in KL city, the first thing that appears in the public's mind is whether is that FAKE......or original...
Ok, guys, since both my daughter got so excited with the Christmas decorations, the rest of the post will be filled with their picture.
Isabelle, you just have to get rid of those peace sign......
It didn't long for the "Monkey spirit" got into Isabelle. The moment she started striking ridiculous poses.
OK, times up. I've snapped hundreds of photos that night, but you'll be bored to see them all here.
So, after that, we decided to call it a night.
We went to the toilet near the lift at the Gardens........ but wait.....
RM5 for a piss!!!!!!??????
Then suddenly, i switched into clandestine mode.....
Ah,hah!!!Nobody there at the counter.Quick.I have to make a run for it! Well sneaking in, I was shocked to see a head raising from behind the counter!
Isabelle!!! Get you monkey bum out from the counter!!!!
I was so tempted to snap picture of how a RM5 a piss toilet looks like.....But unable to, as there are others there too.
Isabelle refused to budge even as I walked out from the toilet. I doubt anyone is going to pay her to pee.
Overall, we had a wonderful night. Family outing. A gastronomically satisfied man is a happy man.
