More Vlog from now on..

Well, as I don't carry my laptop everywhere I go, so ,thought it would be good to have more video blogs instead. People not only see my actual face, but listening to my voice when I speak, to those who are observant perhaps will see through the emotion that I've been through.
I just realized that many of my patients read my blog. Well, you are welcome to. I am as open as can be. This demonstrates that my life is not special just because I am a doctor. But rather, I would appreciate if fellow reader would consider me an average Joe, that like them, I have problems too.
Just because I am a healer, that doesn't means my life is different. I hope patients who reads my blog would find me more down to earth and hopefully be comfortable when seeing me for the first time, since you have already known me from the blog.

Happy Holidays and have a safe weekend, guys. Cheers..

another cool feature of the remote control!

Notice the hammer like movement on my remote control??

A perfect day spoilt by morons!

Bandar Sri Damansara is a middle to high income community. But I believe beyond any reasonable doubts, they are also a community of imbecile."Geez, I am beginning to sound like House".
I think common sense is located at their ass!!!

Part 2 of changing "changing Car Remote"

As promised, here's the 2nd part. Well, it's almost sad to see the old remote being taken away, but as the Chinese saying goes," If still cling on to the old ones, where then do you have space for new arrivals?"
Whoever coined this saying deserves a salute....posthumously.
Tah dah!!!!..... Now I really feel the "Bond" in me with this piece of nifty gadget. It has an alarm clock! and since its a 2 ways channel remote, anyone who kicks my car would be registered through my remote as it vibrates to alert me that someone is vandalizing my baby!
Besides the lock and unlock buttons, the side of the remote has additional three buttons. The left most  is to unlock the truck, the middle one is to remotely start the engine to cool up the Air conditioner before I get in, and the right button is to silent the alarm.
Let me demonstrate what this nifty gadget does in an unfortunately low quality YouTube video.

And guess what, the CCTV of my clinic, I just found out I could actually view it from my laptop from the comfort of my home.
 How cool is that!?
Oh, another thing about these remote control, it has a charger that need about 1/2 charging time to last for at least 3 months. So, safe from the hassle of changing batteries when it grows weak,eh...

A morning that started out with a "Bang"!!!!

I was all excited about switching my car alarm system. Years ago while I was street racer, I installed all sorts of high end gadgets onto my baby! Autostart from remote, auto search, GPS. After a few years, I switch to another alarm that is so sensitive, that a car that had their silencer removes driving pass my  car would set the alarm on. Even whenever there's a thunderstorm, my alarm who begin to sound repeatedly! And it's a such a hassle to stop the alarm whenever it sounds.
It comes with a remote that doesn't have the autostart, autosearch, air conditioner starter.
But all that's going to change today!!!!! hahahaha.... I was so excited. Since the previous alarm was so good, the accessory owner agree to exchange and I pay up the balance of  only RM 150!
Original price of the new alarm system cost RM818.
I was so excited as the remote is a two way channel, which means, it has a picture of the car, and, and anyone tampering with it will be shown on my screen of my remote, it's voice activated alarm, and I could control the car from a mile away!!!!
I woke up filled with enthusiasm. Obviously with all the adrenaline pumping, I begin driving a little faster......110km/h within the housing area..ihihii.. Yes I know it's dangerous, and proven by this morning's accident. I skidded and rammed onto the back of a Honda Accord. The screw up thing was it left a dent and I mean a deep dent, while the bumper of the Honda was unscathed!!!
I can't help driving patiently like an old "Apek". Once a street racer blood in you, you just need to be at your destination PRONTO! Boo hoo.. now I need to spend extra cash to get it hammered back to place. With my driving style, I should get a Hummer next. Stay tuned for part 2 of the saga of getting a new alarm.HIHIHI

Hyacorp... breast augmentation through filler injection

I've been receiving quite a number of inquiries regarding non surgical breast enhancement. Well, Hyocorp, a German product may be the answer for it.
Unlike normal filler which comes in a prefilled syringe of 1ml, Hyacorp comes in prefilled 10 ml syringe. Unlike my misquoted price previously, Its RM 1000 per syringe.
The advantage of filler augmentation compared to breast implants are many. You need not get hospitalized, the entire procedure is done under local anaesthetic and you'll be awake throughout the entire procedure, which is handy we patient may want to look for themselves whether or not they need more enhancement.
The most fascinating thing about filler augmentation is that it feels and looks absolutely natural compared to implants. Well, let the picture speaks for itself.
For increase in 1 Cup size, one would need at least 9-13 syringes per breast. Hence for both sides would come up to a total of 18-20 syringes. The total cost depends upon the syringes used, with each syringe costing RM1000.
However, it's not a perfect product in the sense one needs to top up at least 50% before the breast goes back to it's original size.
The entire procedure takes around 2 hours, with very minimal or no scarring.
Whoever is interested can call us up at 62722678. If you do not want something radical like an implant, well, this is your solution.

My weekend at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa.

In my 34 years of existence, I've heard of Lake Titiwangsa, but shameless to say, it's only last weekend that marked my first ever visit to the Lakeside supposedly filled with family activities. And since its a there's a huge lake, I would assume the place be filled with people playing remote control helicopters, or even R/C speedboat.
I bought a tiny little R/C helicopter for Natalie, it's actually her second Helicopter, she simply couldn't get used to the controller, so the helicopter would take off fast and hit the ceiling, then came crushing down... i REMEMBER vividly the selling point the vendor remarked was that, the body of the helicopter is 100% pliable,ELASTIC plastic. Hence, even if it falls 4 storey below and lands on concrete, nothing WILL GO WRONG!!!!
But hey, what would you expect from a RM40 3 channel helicopter, made from  China? Thought it would be fun to bring it along, but on second thought, those serious hardcore gamer would have thousand dollar helicopter that looks like this.
Damn, flying around a miniature RM40 helicopter for 5 years old kiddies would certainly create a complex with the public flying around their customized run on petrol high end choppers like these beauties.
On the other hand, I ditched the idea of bringing along the heli, but instead..........

I hoped there would be at least someone plays painball and BB gun, so I got myself packed, 4 magazines, my tactical reflex laser, red and green laser, and my Bushnell's 9x optical sight. But before I reveal this puppy, it's only logical that I scout around the area first, assess the crowd, don't want to create trouble, no matter what.
Once I reached there, the first thought that popped in my head was, "Where are the adults with their expensive RC Highspeed motorboats? What about proud owners of adult RC helicopters?
All I noticed was the lake was foul looking. I didn't bother to go near to check it out.
At least they have water fountains, right at the middle of the lake, where children who wished to play with water gets disappointed.
Isabelle and Natalie both let out an ecstatic WEEEEEE the moment they saw this!
The screamed in joy upon seeing such a well elaborated playground, with tunnels connecting one playhouse to another. There were so many kids, you literally had to keep an eye on the kids.
Leo is definitely a paperboy, he can't stand the heat judging from his facial expression.
Even Isabelle spending most of her time under the shed.
Gleefully free from the heat.
While Natalie couldn't be bothered with the heat...
While the kids played at the playground, Titiwangsa offers plenty of greenery for photograph.

The heat is getting unbearable. We were planning to go to  Low Yat to get my Iphone  jailbreak.

Mission accomplished.....

.....and more morons!!!

My wife called me up asking me to pack some food for her as she felt sick. She complained for bodyache, and when I checked her, she's having mild fever.
I reluctantly left the house, and advised her to drink more water, and not forget to take her medications.
And as I reached my clinic...................
I've posted three postings in my blog today, and it's all on MORONIC DRIVER with no common sense. What an imbecile! How to park like that?

land of Morons

Just as I drove out to get lunch, and when I reached the clinic, I met another Moron.
Another diagonally parked car! I patiently waited across the other side of the parking area, so as this car moves away, I can just lurch forward to my space. I waited..... until the driver's wife came back with a dozen eggs.
As the car was leaving, it was followed by several cars tailing along, which means I had to wait till the coast is clear. Then I almost screamed out "F**K!" when this car parked on the spot, similarly diagonally!
But thus ain't just a moron with no road sense. I looked carefully.....
The yellow head protector could only means this lady is either a construction engineer, an architect, or simply place there to show that a high ranking post worker drives the car. While high ranking or not, her brain is located at her ass the moment she parked her car like this, in front of a clinic some more! Common sense isn't very common isn't?

Morons! I think there's a community of them here

One thing i absolutely hate the most is cars that has to park diagonally taking up two parking spaces. And it happens almost on a daily basis ON MY CARPARK, just because there's a 99 speed mart store. But never give them a reason to park their car in such a way as if their grandfather owns the road or something.
Exhibit number 1
What pissed me off was that the engine of the car was left on, with their wife and children in the car. Seeing the children cools me off a little. But in case of emergencies, we need the parking space!
As this car moved out, suddenly another car came it in a similar fashion. I was just parked across waiting for the car to move to I can park my car there PROPERLY, but then moron number 2 parked his car diagonally again taking up 2 spaces.
Wahh, like Steve McQueen in the Italian job, He just sped up and brake right where he was.
I was so pissed, I sincerely felt like doing something.
So,i wrote this down.
Before I manage to come out from the car to paste it on his windscreen, he quickly came out and jumped into his car and sped away! Moron!!!

Once a while, you'll get a shocker!

Just two weeks ago, a 30+ year old gentleman came over to my clinic wanting do perform his annual blood test, after missing out so many years.
I had some difficulties drawing blood from his vein as it's a "running vein" As a result of that, I had to change needle to a smaller calibre, 30 gauge, which ideally not suitable for drawing out blood as it would cause inconsistency and inaccuracy in the result.
The lab that I sent my blood samples to is the well known Internationally available Gribbles lab.
Well, I would expect some hemolysis of the blood due to the small calibre needle that i used, but the result blew my mind away. I've never seen such deranged result before in my life.
What baffled me was that his normal sugar level on fasting was only 4mmol, which falls within normal limit. But looking at the urine result totally blew my mind away.
Protein and Glucose was leaking out from his kidneys. That doesn't make sense! Blood sugar was normal!
But due to the gross hyperlipideamia risks the patient for developing acute pancreatitis.
I was alarmed and panicked at the result, hoping that there was some error with the result, hence I asked him to come back tomorrow for another sample.
Unfortunately, while at home yesterday, he claimed he had a severe gastric attack, and had vomited several times. His housemate called him a few times, until he stopped answering the phone. Immediately, the worst case scenario appeared in my mind, the gastric pain may not be gastric pain after all, but rather it;s pancreatitis, which produces similar symptom. When the housemate reach him, he was semi conscious, and couldn't stand. Immediately, I advised them to admit him to Emergency and Accident at Sunway medical centre while I fax and give the doctor a heads up on the incoming patient.
Today, CT abdomen was done, and I spoke to the specialist in charge. He claimed he had never seen such a deranged result before too. And that through the CT scan, the pancreas had developed a pseudocyst, and the vomiting was a sign of a massive acute pancreatitis triggered by the deranged cholesterol level.
Currently, he is more stable now, probably will be diabetic, and will be given a special medication for the cholesterol.
Thank God he was sent to the hospital yesterday, otherwise, I doubt he would ever wake up the next day. He was in Ketoacidosis, a medical emergency.
I felt relieved that he's stable now. A life saved  perhaps....no definitely.
With God's grace, working through me, telling me the right thing to do.....he continue to live..

My weekend date with Isabelle

It was 9.00am, when Isabelle excitedly woke me up. "Time to get the tickets, daddy!!"  The show starts at 11.45am, and I need to collect our tickets an hour earlier.
Throughout the entire movie, I felt the cartoon wasn't just meant for children, but for adults too. This movie is fulled of wonderful music, and the cartoon characters 's voice are of big Hollywood giants, like Will-i-am,Jamie Foxx, and more. No wonder there's this particular song which caught my attention, and I totally fell in love with the song. Its' a song that makes a couple fell in love over and over again. How I wished my soulmate was there watching the movie with me.

Beautiful song, isn't?

Perhaps this will help you chose which party to govern us

I was restless from the moment I woke up this morning, and I've been searching the net for news on the ongoing election held today.
Apparently, BN pays their voters at different rates, depending upon which area of State of Sarawak. It ranges from RM100-RM1000 per votes. It appears that there are agencies who brings these voters, and initially paid half of their promised amount, and can only claim with photo camera images to prove that they cast their votes for BN, and the rest of the money will be paid if BN won. When I read about this, I literally felt  so angry and frustrated at the stupidity of the voter who are bribed recipients. Does their dignity cost only that much?
For 30 years, BN has stole so much from Sarawak, leaving the indigenous people living in constant poverty. Fellows Malaysians, we have to change the government. Please don't bargain your own future with petty amount of RM1000. I hope the video clip will help you to chose which party to govern your State.

Have you decided which party to vote for now?

Most watched video on YouTube

I spend quite a length in time watching YouTube. So, what's the most popular video as measured by the numbers of people who has watched.
So, naturally, you key in "most watched video in YouTube". As these popped up.

With 169 million viewed, its tough to beat right?
So I checked out Susan Boyle's  video which was viewed 78 million times. Not bad.

Then I checked out my daughter's favourite video.

Wow! 119 million and climbing! This video will give the first one a run for its money.
Check out Leonidas's bobbing head while listening to "Gummy Bear" played on the TV.
Kids today.....it's a wonder watching them grow and learn stuff. It great being a father to these three wonderful angels.

A date with Isabelle

Since Natalie and Leonidas requires our constant attention, while the elder sister little Isabelle, who is constantly busy with school work, Kumon, piano classes, ballet classes, would need some time off too with the parents.
A very close personal friend of mine recommended me taking Isabelle out for a movie, a time specially for Isabelle only, to compensate for all the year of ignoring her. This time, I will organize a special time to spend only with Isabelle, a father and daughter session. I am bringing her to watch a cartoon, Rio,showing in Cinema this week.
I sincerely hoped she will enjoy the cartoon. I feel the need for this quality father and daughter as it is long due. Isabelle deserves somethings special.

Election Sarawak 16.4.2011

With Pakatan Rakyat going full force in its campaign, and with comparatively very little to respond from BN, chances of Sarawak to get a newly appointment Government looks rather promising. Once PKR wins (I sincerely they will ) as the new state Government, overthrowing 30 years of BN reign by Mohd Taib, which is linked with multiple corruption charges with it's list that goes on and on.
Its obvious this CM must go. But what baffles me is that despite the hardship the people had to endure why did they kept on voting for BN previously.
Then I read about money politics, where BN bribed each person RM100 to vote for BN and RM500 for the entire family to vote. Once they stay in power, corruptions lingers on. Sarawak which is rich in natural resources, like oil, petrol, timber,etc.. ought to be one of the most modernized states in Malaysia, perhaps in par with Putrajaya/ Cyberjaya, but no, even the basic amenities are not there. Driving on the roads is comparable to riding a Rover in some jungle safari. Back breaking, as DSAI aptly described.
With a revenue through petroleum of 80 billion, why would the petrol price go up? Land where timber is ground being confiscated without refunds to the landowners is rampant over in that state.
For 30 years, our country which is filled with natural resources SHOULD NOT see poverty. With NEP going on, it's true, only the elite group of Bumiputera gets richer without seeing improvement for the hardcore poor. Personally, NEP is just a show, with the ruling coalition as the puppeteer. Displaying a show to the masses which by now I would say, does nothing but insult the intelligence of a fellow citizen.
With all the corruption going on, SPR ought to be independent. We need a truly independent body to run the election without votes tampering, phantom voters,etc... which is rampant in our history since independence. All these must change.
Let vote for a change. Give PKR a chance. Seeing the changes made in Kedah, Pulau Pinang, and Selangor, I am confident with the party. Time for radical changes is now. PKR is truly a people's party, who looks after the needs of the people.
I pray, for Sarawak, if BN won again this coming 16, I will literally bang my head to the wall.

Ideal Saturday...

Saturday started with a bang and business was good the entire day, which was truly a blessing. Well strictly speaking, the true blessing was that my parents came back, and seeing my father simply overwhelms me. His hair has fallen off due to the side effects of the chemo. I truly felt like running to him and give him a bear hug, in assuring that everything is alright. But somehow, my father was poised and confident, which somehow, and funnily stopped me from giving him the hug. Thinking retrospectively, I think the hug was for me, because I sincerely missed him.
I close the clinic an hour earlier because we had planned to bring him out for dinner tonight. This time, my treat.
Knowing how much my parent liked window shopping, we stopped by Tesco Kepong, where the air conditioned place and the crowds excites the kids as well. Especially little Leo and Natalie.
Little Leo sitting on the trolley cart while mummy is pushing it.
While mummy chose the items to purchase, my Indonesian nanny takes over the pushing, while I get to snap photos..
While Leo was already making noises as he was still hungry, mummy never fails to bring along some snack.
But once in a while the maid is needed for her opinion and choices.
That when daddy takes over the pushing. That's when the fun begins! Isabelle knows it...
Because daddy will push the children around the whole place at great speed!!!! Purely for the children's entertainment.
Leonidas agrees too!!!
It's like going for a ride on the roller coaster!
But once I stopped, the children gets restless!!!
The passenger becomes rowdy!!!!!
Who only settles down once daddy starts pushing again!
See, children, it's fun being with daddy! While mummy lingers on the clothes department, the moment she is done, we've had visited every single store on the floor.Yeah!!!
