Good times are meant to be shared.....

I am a huge huge fan of black stand up comedy, especially Def Jam comedy. I am glad to announce that I am a proud owner of Def Jam Comedy DVD collection season 1-3. It never failed to relaxes me after a hard day's work. It cracks me up each time I watch them, and I watch them repeatedly.
However, they may be funny, but to date, I find no one as entertaining as Jamie Fox, Bafta Awards Winner, Golden Award winner, Oscar Award winner actor, Academy Award winner musician, stand up comedian, talk show host, he's nothing short of an all rounder.
Some of you guys may not have seen heard his jokes, but you got to see some of them:-

I hope you have enjoyed these video as much as I did. You could check them out in YouTube.

Changing my spending habit.

I remember vividly the first time I was offered a credit card whilst serving my the first posting of my housemanship in Klang General Hospital. It was Citibank. I have zit idea on how they managed to find out information on my whereabouts and sent an employee to get my particulars, which I was more was happy to share. I mean.. come on. My first credit card, which marked a milestone in my life.
Well, as time passed by, I've got quite a few credit cards and I've learned that it can be a double edge sword.
Whether to make it work for you or against you,one just need to be smart as a consumer. That is when I made the long and hard decision to cancel my Gold card.
I've made many purchases with this card, my overpriced Mountain bike which easily cost more than a motorcycle, my two BB gun with its accessories, my car's souped up 8 speaker surround sound doubled amplifier with a 9 inch woofer sound system, various anniversaries gifts,etc....
Now that I have 3 children, I have to make sacrifices, have to control my spending. That is when I decided to give up the card.....a hard decision indeed....

I cracked up listening to these songs...

This post is for entertainment only. Due to the nature of the song featured, viewing with discretion is advised. No racial or religion slur is intended.
There is no denying that I love music, though I don't play any musical instruments, I am totally engaged and put my heart and soul while listening to them for their lyrical significance.
I was simply browsing YouTube to find more interesting applications for my Iphone, when I encounter one video with a catchy music played at the background. It sounded rather familiar.
Bling! My lightbulb lighted up. It's a soundtrack from the comedy franchise Harold and Kumar.
The song's title is called "My Dick"

An American rapper by the name of Mickey Avalon wrote and rapped this song. Talk about male chauvinistic ego.
Though the content of of the lyrics is trash, but it's funny.  Then I found the female version written and rapped by fellow American Margaret Cho, an actress, designer, rap artist and music producer.

Songs these days are crappy,I mean what happened to artist like Tupac, Arrested Development, Third Eye Blind? Or even songs that gives your the mellowed feeling like Brian Mcknight, Boys 2 Men? Grudge Rock like Alice in Chains? I swear to you. Some of the new artist who wants to be different, like Lady Gaga for instance, though she may look like she came straight of your nightmare, but her music were tasteful.
Music like Super Bass by this newcomer Nicki Minaj is totally bimbo-tic with trasher content.

I swear, the more you listen to it, her music or music video will turn you stupid or dumb.

My life isn't white nor black. Trapped within the uncertainty grey

Owning your own business is really challenging. I really think I don't have the the knack for entrepreneurship.
It's been 2 1/2 years since the clinic opens, it's only recently that we are able to cover some of the utilities and rental, then today I received a shock. I received a bill from Zuellig Pharma that
we owe them over 32K. How in the world!
I feel helpless. I feel neither here nor there. Time stopped for a moment as I stare at the bill statement. I could feel my heart beat. It wasn't palpitation, but perhaps all the other four sensory organ was paused, and my visual sensation was over sensitized.
I have to think hard on how to overcome this hurdle.

There are times I wish there's a Glock in my drawer...............

This is a talented artist.

Academy Award Winner, BAFTA award winner, Golden Globe Award winner, for acting, song writer, stand up comedian, and a fantastic singer that won him a Grammy's Award.
There's non other than Jamie Foxx.
I was mesmerized with his raw talent in acting especially in "Any given Sunday,Ray, Collateral alongside Tom Cruise, The Kingdom, just to name a few.
But tell me, in Hollywood, how many gifted and award winning actors are also award winning singers and comedians?
He can do cover versions way better than the original singer. Let me show some to you guys for your entertainment.
Theme Song from the 60's Braddy Bunch.

And the cover version by Jamie...

That's not all..
Back in the 70's there was this famous R&B group called Midnight Star who popularized their hit song, Slow Jams.

The late Luther Vandross had serenaded numerous love songs that we'll never forget for nearly 3 decades. And one of his song is called "If only for one night."
This is his version.... the original version.

Great songs aren't they...
Now listen to Jamie's cover version for both Slow Jams and If Only For one night.

I was totally mesmerized with his talent. I wish I could serenade like him, seriously. He tastefully incorporate comedy in his songs.
To be frank, I would listen to him singing everyday. It's just that his songs are so heartfelt.
I hope you guys would enjoy listening to them as well.

Happy Mother's Day.

This weekend, my wife,my brother in law, and myself decided to bring my mother in law out for a meal to celebrate Mother's Day.
Her range of diet is rather restricted as she only takes organic food.
The venue is Yogitree at Gardens Midvalley.
We headed down to the 1st floor of The Gardens where the restaurant is located.
Judging from the crowd there, I realized more Malaysian's are more health conscious then ever before.
The decorations and layouts of the restaurant gives a warm ambiance. A homely feeling. I noticed the chairs are actually at least 15 years old (because we had them while staying in Kedah) and got them repainted. The tables are made of solid rubber wood.
Even the menu are made from recycled papers.
The service provided is so-so. Not fantastic, but nothing to complaint about.
While little Natalie anxiously waiting for her food to arrive,
Isabelle got her undivided attention from playing with my Iphone.
This would be my first time eating "organic chicken".
Even though Natalie did not get her afternoon nap, she's so energetic that particular day. Running around, singing... there I managed to capture a glimpse of the top of her head.
Isabelle ordered carbonara spaghetti.
Looks yummy, so I ordered one for myself too!!!
The moment i place a spoonful of  spaghetti into my mouth, it tantalizes my taste buds.
Taste a good, but I think they should put in less Olive oil into it.
Honey Ice lemon tea I ordered.
Tea with red beans, and many others traditional Chinese herbs.
Seafood in tomato sauce..
Organic Chicken... Man the mere size of the drum stick gave me a good idea on the size of this bird! It's undercooked, biting the meat is like chewing on a piece of latex, and I didn't know Organic chicken's skin is filled with at east 0.5cm of fats!
Eating this bird pose a challenge to me. With a fork and knife on my hands, it is not easy to cut this bird. I have no idea how much squeaky or rather shrieking sound with my utensils while cutting the meat off the bone. After a while, this was it looked like.
Check out the fats on the skin!!! Geezz... I wondered if I just ate
Or one of these.....
I dare not find out.
We had squid salad...
My mother in law had turkey ham sandwich.
Natalie was obviously pleased with the food.
And so was Leonidas..
After lunch, we just strolled around wasting time as we were waiting for time to pass by till evening to attend Grandfather's birthday dinner.
Strolling along Garden towards Midvalley was like an adventure to Leonidas. He was shouting in excitement.
I feel really relaxed when strolling with wife and kids once in a while. A chance to be a daddy is far  more rewarding than being  a doctor.
During the evening, we drove all the way to Selayang to a Chinese Restaurant called Mong Kok.
Boiled red eggs is a must, but i have no idea what's its' significance.
I don't know what this dish is called, but its certainly a feast to my eyes.
Their shark fin soup is tasty and filled with crab meat, shark fins, all the genuine stuff..
It was so good I had to have a second helping!

Wonders of Cosmetic Medicine

Cosmetic procedures aren't only for the middle aged or the elderly anymore. More youngster and getting their face under the knife(in my case under the needle)in the name of beauty and perfection.
Today I had a 30 year old attractive woman who came with her friend. She came to me last year and I rejected her since her lines are so minor and not noticeable. I don't believe in wasting her hard earned money for any cosmetic procedure when clearly she doesn't needed it.
But this time, she came and was complaining that her colleague could easily guessed her age with her nasolabial lines.
Here are the unaltered before procedure photographs.
Notice the nasolabial folds even when the face isn't animated?
The lineIs became more obvious with smiling. She insisted on getting treatment. I hesitated, but judging from her character who really wants to get rid of these lines, she kept on insisted. So, I did it
Before procedure....
After procedure....inanimate face.
Smile....
Before and after photos.
Lines gone.
Again, before procedure..
After procedure
This is one of the numerous wonders fillers can do these days.

Our weekend in Melaka

Since this Monday is a public holiday(to make up for Labor Day that fell on Sunday), we've decided to visit my parents in Melaka. I knew my dad missed his grandchildren very much.
We left KL at 2.30pm, and bloody hell, the entire journey took more than 4 hours to reach. No thanks to the static jam inside and outside of Melaka.
While daddy the driver was fuming, little Leonidas was blissfully sleeping, unaware of the chaos that happened that evening.
It is times as such that I wished I have a driver chauffeuring me while i get to take a nap. My Dad was so restless that he called us three times throughout our journey.
It was such a relief reaching my sister's apartment. Again, my dad had to come down with the security card to enable us to take the lift. Seeing him overwhelmed me with such loving emotions that I felt like dropping my bag and give him a reassuring bear hug. But that... in reality, did not happened.
That night, my sister took us to this shopping mall and we had the best, not to mention freshest Sushi I've ever tasted.
Unlike Sushi King where the food are placed on a conveyer belt, the food here are placed on little wooden boats floating on a moving water.
Choose your poison. I ordered California roll, Soft shell crab Temaki, and Salmon Sashimi.
Every item was tantalizing to the taste buds.
After the hefty dinner, we walk around a little bit. The crowd was building up fast.
Would you believe me if I were to tell you it took us more than an hour to get our car parked on the 6th level to the 3rd level?? Yes, I was fuming inside. On top of that, the mentality of Malaysian drivers really drove me up the wall.
It was already 11.30pm when we reached home. The next morning, dad and mum took us to a fancy restaurant called Simply Fish. It's equivalent to our Fish & Co. in KL. Simply Fish wasn't a franchise or anything as sort.
Dad took the liberty to order for us since he knows which dishes are good and which aren't.
The tastiest Mushroom soup I've ever tasted. You could feel huge chuck of cut up mushrooms in them.
Have you ever ordered garlic bread and all that was served was bread with minute amount of garlic paste at the centre of it, like in Pizza Hut? But not this, the garlic paste covered at least 80% of the surface of the bread.
Then one by one, the feast fit for a king arrived.
The baked oysters with cheese was simply super delicious. I am out of words when the sea food platter arrived.
It dish was simply jaw dropping.
We left Melaka after a short rest at home. Before I got into the car.... I gave my father a bear hug...
Come to think about it, I am pretty sure the hug was to comfort myself that my dad will be alright.
